An aluminum alloy flanged ball valve is a manual ball valve with an aluminum alloy body and flanged connection, fitted with a stainless steel ball core. It features light weight, excellent corrosion resistance, large flow capacity and quick on-off operation, and is widely used as a main pipeline shut-off valve for special vehicles such as oil tank trucks and sprinkler trucks.

Main Valve at Tank Outlet (Mandatory Installation)
Location: Between the discharge port at the bottom/side of the tank and the delivery pipeline
Function: Control the on-off of fluid across the whole vehicle; fully cut off flow during maintenance or parking to prevent leakage
Requirement: Position the handle towards the outer operating area and reserve sufficient space for rotation for easy operationPipeline Branch Control (Install as Required)
Location: Main pipeline to branch pipelines (e.g., water spray gun, gravity outlet, oil pump inlet)
Function: Independently control each branch circuit; maintenance on branches will not affect the main pipeline
Before & After Oil Pump (Oil Pump Pipeline)
Before pump: Between oil pump inlet and tank, to protect the pump and facilitate maintenance
After pump: Between oil pump outlet and pipeline, to avoid fluid backflow after shutdown
Drain & Vent Port (Auxiliary)Location: Lowest point of pipelines and tank drain outlet
Function: Discharge residual fluid inside the tank and pipelines to prevent freezing and sediment accumulation
Aluminum alloy square flange Prohibitions for Operation & Maintenance
No half-open operation: Keeping the valve half open for long will wear the sealing surface and cause internal leakage. Only use it in fully open or fully closed state.
No forced operation: Turn the handle 90° to the designated position. Do not pry or apply extra force to avoid valve stem breakage.
No mixed media application: Use oil service valves and water service valves separately to prevent cross contamination and seal deterioration.
Regular inspection: Check tightness of flange bolts and leakage at valve stem seals every 3 months. Clean the valve cavity once a year.
